You must also fully charge your rental to your American Express business card. Keep in mind there is no additional charge for this coverage, and you'll even save up to $23 per day charge by the rental company.
Also when you charge your flight to your card, you'll get up to $500 in coverage for baggage delay. You’re also covered if you lose your luggage. You can use this $500 or motel, hotel, restaurant, and other expenses. You’re also covered if your flight is delayed under the same $500 policy. Finally, your hotel or motel is covered when you use your card to pay. This protects you in case your room is burglarized. We also like that American Express covers your purchases no matter how you use your card. They offer a buyers Insurance protection plan that doubles the manufacturer's warranty for up to one additional year. This applies to purchases made anywhere in the world with your card as long as your warranty is valid in Canada and the United States. The warranty must not exceed five years and you will need approval before any repairs are made. Repair costs and replacements must not exceed $10,000 per item. You'll be eligible to receive up to $25,000 worth of repairs per year.
